Thousands of mainstream South Carolinians support comprehensive, medically-sound family planning policy – clergy, teachers, healthcare providers, homemakers, small business owners, parents and grandparents.

 

Now we find that extreme groups are working in opposition to rights we take for granted, including our right to basic birth control.  Reasonable people must speak up now to stop these extreme measures. 

 

South Carolinians are fiercely independent and value their privacy and individualism.  We overwhelmingly believe – along with most Americans – that family planning is a private matter. We also believe that sound family planning policy is good for society, our economy and our families.
