About Us
In December 2006, a state Senator pre-filed a bill that, if passed, will protect pharmacists who object to filling prescriptions for birth control pills.
Yes, ordinary birth control pills. It's hard to believe, isn't it?
While some of us live in towns where women have many drug stores from which to choose, others live in rural communities where there are not "back up" pharmacies. Many poor women lack transportation to go elsewhere.

We believe every South Carolina woman deserves unrestricted access to a full-range of reproductive health services. We believe families are healthier when adults plan for children and want to be parents.
Mainstream South Carolinians can make a difference by electing state and local officials who support comprehensive, medically-sound family planning.
Who We Are:
- South Carolina Reproductive Health PAC is a non-partisan, state political action committee.
- We are concerned citizens who support family planning and the right to make private reproductive health decisions.
- We provide campaign funding and other assistance to candidates who support comprehensive, medically-sound family planning policy.
